AFSPA is proud to now offer an online credit/debit card payment option. For security reasons, ALL credit and debit card payments will be handled through the AFSPA Member Portal. Once you have logged into your account select, “Pay by Credit or Debit Card” to the right of the screen for the insurance plan premium you wish to pay.

• Eligible for the following insurance plans:
  • Dental 
  • Life
  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
  • Critical Illness
  • Long Term Care (Mutual of Omaha)

 

Yes. A processing fee or surcharge of 3% of the total transaction amount will be charged for the use of major credit cards, American Express, MasterCard or Visa. This fee does NOT apply to the use of major debit cards.

There are two (2) options for paying multiple premiums:

• Pay by Plan– Pay each plan’s premium separately by selecting the “Pay Now” button found under each eligible active plan. This option also enables you to pay a portion of your balance or the total balance due. For example, if your total balance consists of a past due balance and a current balance not yet due, you may opt to only pay the past due balance.
• Pay All Premiums Together-This option enables you to pay the full premium for ALL plans with a balance due at one time by selecting the “Pay All Premiums” button. Please note that this option does NOT allow you to pay a portion of the total balance; you will have to pay the full balance. This may include the balance for a premium that has already been charged to your account but may NOT be due at the time of your payment. For example, if your total balance consists of a past due balance and a current balance not yet due, you will be required to pay both the full past due and current balances at the time of your payment transaction.

This function is NOT available for credit or debit card payments at this time. You may want to consider our Direct Debit Program to have your quarterly and annual premiums automatically paid by a recurring electronic ACH debit directly from your bank account. Please refer to the Direct Debit FAQs to learn more. Another option is to set up a recurring “Bill Pay” account directly with your bank.

• Direct Debit enrollment authorizes AFSPA to collect your quarterly and annual premiums through an electronic ACH transaction directly from a designated bank account on a recurring basis.
• Credit/Debit payments allow you to make one-time premium payments online using a credit or debit card.
