Season’s Greetings, AFSPA Family! As we begin to look ahead to the new year, let’s remember to check some things off our list first.

AFSPA Office Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

AFSPA will close early at 3pm on Wednesday, November 25, and will be closed all day on Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

AFSPA’s Redesigned Website: A Quick Look

After months of hard work, we finally pressed the ‘refresh’ button and revamped our website with an entirely new look and feel. The main goal of redesigning the website is to deliver both our existing and potential members a better, cleaner, and faster user experience – making it easy for them to find exactly what they’re looking for. 

FSBP Partners with Janz Medical Supply

The Foreign Service Benefit Plan (FSBP) proudly welcomes our newest worldwide direct billing partner, Janz Medical Supply, which covers rental and/or purchase including necessary repair and adjustment of all covered durable medical equipment (DME), supplies and orthopedic and prosthetic devices.

COVID-19 is still front and center when it comes to our health concerns, but let’s not forget about the upcoming flu season. Experts acknowledge the possibility of a severe season this year due to reduced population immunity following the lack of flu virus activity since March 2020. The CDC recommends vaccines as the most effective way to reduce your risk for seasonal flu and its complications. It is safe to get both your flu and COVID-19 vaccines.
